If you have high FSH, low AMH or really any other infertility diagnosis - you will learn how to STOP focusing on the diagnosis and dig deeper to ask WHY!
Our motto is test don't guess! These are the 3 tests we run for our 1:1 clients:
Diet - we start with a food sensitivity test and then we recommend an elimination diet.
Hormones - we run a DUTCH test - which looks at the hormone levels using urine - this helps us develop a targeted action plan.
Stool - we look at the DNA of the stool - this test looks for parasites, worms, bacterial and fungal infections (the majority of women that we work with have a gut infection!)
Today I'm excited to dig into the DUTCH test. If you are struggling to conceive or carry your baby to term, this episode is not to be missed.Seriously....infertility does not happen in a bubble...there are reasons and clues. My goal and mission is to educate and empower YOU!
On this podcast you'll learn:
Why testing hormone levels using urine is preferred to blood. How the DUTCH test helps someone struggling with infertility.
How cortisol (stress hormone) impacts sex hormones. We discuss stressors such as food sensitivities, structural stress (eg.. pinched nerve or pain in body), environmental stress and gut infections and how these impact reproduction.
If you are struggling with Premature Ovarian Failure, Low Ovarian Reserve and low AMH and high FSH...typically the estrogens on the DUTCH are very low and in the menopausal range. We discuss how testing helps to figure out a treatment plan. Plus is supplementing with DHEA a good idea?
We discuss gut health (infections, leaky gut) and hormones. This connection is often missed by your conventional doctor. Plus we dig into thyroid dysfunction (hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's) and the link to low levels of metabolized cortisol.
I love Dr Carrie's approach and everything she is doing to educate and empower women! Check out her instagram for inspiration!
