        • What we’re looking for is some degree of regularity
        • An optimal menstrual cycle can range from 25 to 35 days, with roughly 3 to 7 days of bleeding

        • We're often told to grin and bear it.


        • The only reason we should be getting spotting outside of the menstrual bleed would be at the point of ovulation, and that’s not very common
        • The number one reason we see for spotting before your period is progesterone deficit
        • Other reasons you may be spotting outside of your period
        • Abnormal spotting is usually caused by inflammation or a hormone deficit
